Thinking about my short animation

Right now, I am thinking about a drum, and all the visual qualities of it.  I am thinking to my self, if a drum were to morph into words, what would they be? I want to capture different kinds of music and different tones within showing images of different drums.  At the end of this animation I want the beat from a drum to transform into the beat from a heart.
